- 50 ml. vino tinto
- 2 papas grandes

- Se limpia muy bien el pulpo con abundante agua, quitando impurezas dentro de la cabeza, se le deben de cortar con un cuchillo los ojos, y quitarle la boca.

- Colocar una olla con abundante agua la media cebolla, dejar hasta que hierva (pueden usar una olla express, pero no hay que taparla hasta el siguiente paso)
- Una vez que está hirviendo vamos a sumergir el pulpo, coloquialmente en Galicia se le llama espantarlo, aquí lo metemos hasta la altura de la cabeza y sacamos, lo hacemos 3 veces, esto es para que la piel permanezca y no se despegue, le agregamos el vino tinto y lo dejamos en la olla por 40-45 min. (Aquí ya podremos tapar nuestra olla express)
- Después de 40 min, checamos si ya está bien cocido, si es así, apagamos el fuego y lo dejamos reposar por 5 minutos.
- Retiramos el pulpo y cortamos algunos tentáculos en rodajas y la cabeza en trozos pequeños.

- Mientras cortamos nuestro pulpo volvemos a encender nuestra olla y colocamos las dos papas peladas y cortadas en rodajas de 1 cm de grosor. Y dejamos entre 10 y 15 min.
- Cuando las papas ya estén listas, hacemos una cama con ellas en un plato redondo, le agregamos sal de grano, paprika y un poco de aceite de oliva.
- Después colocamos encima nuestros pulpos y agregamos sal de grano al gusto, paprika y aceite de oliva.
